Okay, we have a really good excuse for falling a little behind on updating our site. On June 12 our little vegan bundle of joy arrived on the scene huffing and puffing and causing all kinds of commotion. Justice was a big baby right from the start -- 8 pounds 11 ounces, with broad shoulders, a lusty cry, a big appetite, and if we may take a little parental pride in saying so, a very beautiful face as well. He's kept us hopping and bleary eyed by reminding us that each day has 24 hours, and that any one of them is as good as any other to be very alive in the world. Ultimately, we hope to have a much more comprehensive site to show off our wonderful progeny, but we know that some of our friends and family have been itching to see some photos. So here is our first attempt to introduce our little Justice to the world. Update - July 24: Well, the monkey is trying to crawl (gulp!), turn over and hold his head up, which has been met with some wobbly success. He's full of ass-kicking vegan energy and can't wait to get out there and start passing out Why Vegans. Until then, he will nurse, burp and sleep, dreaming of the compassionate world he's going to help build.
