August 14 and 15, we took in the decadent, free-spirited vibe of Northalsted Market Days, and did we ever have a blast. We met many vegans and vegetarians, as well as a lot of people who were just plain interested in what we were doing. What fun! Plus, we were across the street from our favorite vegetarian restaurant, the Chicago Diner, so we took many trips back and forth with all sorts of yummy things in our hands. Delish! Plus, they make a great margarita, and, if you ask real nice, Juan will even put a pretty paper umbrella in it.
