B A S I L Fresh Vegan Pesto Oh, how I love basil! It just tastes so fresh and clean, like summertime itself. And pesto is great on pasta, of course, but I also like to mix it up with different grains and mash it together. 2 cups fresh basil, roughly chopped In a blender or food processor, blend together all ingredients except the water. With the machine running, add the water until you reach the consistency you like. Heat and serve. *Faux Parmesan Place all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and process for several minutes, until it is all finely ground and integrated. |
