Steven Kolb, the President and CEO of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, assaulted two animal rights protestors at a New York Fashion Week runway show Sunday. He pulled a sign from a protester, who was protesting the cruelty of the wool used in the fashion show, grabbed her and pulled her to the floor, wrapping his leg around her. At one point he is seen putting his hand over the protester's mouth. The footage also shows Kolb covering the face of another protester. Kolb apologized in a statement shared Sunday on his Instagram page, according to The New York Times. "I reacted inappropriately to an incident at a show earlier today," Kolb wrote in the statement, according to The Times. "It wasn't my place to do so. I should have let the security team handle the situation." You are allowed to protest protestors. You are not allowed to assault them.
