I worked on my first climate change campaign in 1997 (it included an ad with a photo of a burning globe and the headline "Global Warning") and Vegan Street has been been sounding the alarm ever since, mostly to a distracted and skeptical public. Since then, the warnings have gotten more and more dire and the climate disruptions have gotten more and more violent and immediate. But it wasn't until the last few weeks, after the current administration has started working to give control of the environment to those who most wish to profit from its destruction, that the American people are finally waking up and recognizing the danger this is all bringing to our future and our children's future.
Since our government has become one of the greatest threats to the environment, we the people need to stand up to be be greatest champions.
