Horse racing is a deeply cruel and anachronistic sport that should have absolutely no place in the 21st Century. Hundreds of racehorses die painfully each year from injuries due to overworking and forced drug use, including more than 174 in Australia alone. It is time for this bloodsport to be put out to pasture forever.
