One of the ways that most people justify eating animals is by saying that they are simply dumb animals with no capacity for thought or feelings. Most of the animals are more like us than many would like to think. A recent study of dairy cows found that each of them had one particular friend in the herd that they cared for than all the others, and that they preferred to spend their time near this friend. #bff
