I seem to be on something of a chocolate-raspberry kick lately. Well, why not? They love each other. Enjoy this smoothie any time, but it’s especially helpful when you’re craving something sweet but don’t want to go into full sugar mode. It’s creamy, tangy and a little sweet.
1¼ - 1½ cups plain non-dairy milk (use less to make it thicker, more to make it thinner) ⅓ cup frozen raspberries 2 tablespoons unsweetened, slavery-free cocoa powder 1 frozen* banana or regular banana, peeled and sliced 2 tablespoons cashews 2 pitted dates 2 tablespoons quick-cooking oats 1 cup ice
Blend until smooth.
* I recommend keeping peeled bananas in your freezer. Not only are frozen bananas a great use for those that are on the edge of going bad, freezing them makes smoothies creamier.
