Alpha Genesis Incorporated has long been a huge villain to animals and the people who care about animals. They import, breed and sell monkeys for the purpose of animal experiments, and they also perform cruel experiments on monkeys themselves.
An inside whistleblower catalogued hundreds of cases of abuse and neglect within their South Carolina facility including 82 cases of monkeys dying or being seriously injured, and submitted his report to PETA, which publicized it, ultimately leading to a USDA investigation that is currently being carried out.
In November of 2024, 43 monkeys escaped the facility, but they were are rounded up and returned to their sad lives. PETA is requesting people to petition the National Institutes of Health—which owns the 43 monkeys who escaped—to send them to a sanctuary to live out their lives in peace.
