This design was created to support the life-saving work of animal rescuer, Stacey O'Brien. On Mother's Day, we (Marla and John) found a tiny kitten in a shed in our backyard who was only a few days old. We named her Gigi for for "grey girl" and Stacey agreed to nurse this little newborn to health and get her adopted, as she has so many other animals in need. Stacey has spent to last couple of months helping Gigi through lots of different, and baffling, health issues, which is not surprising for an abandoned kitty. Stacey is committed to Gigi but we would like to offset her costs, which are out of pocket. It is expensive to get Gigi the specialized care she needs and deserves.
We decided to put a picture of Gigi at her sassiest as a reminder of resilience, zest for life and that it takes a village to save a kitten. All of the profits from the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee design will go to Stacey to help her continue to care for Gigi and the other animals she has rescued.
