As the US government is loudly shouting it's "climate change doesn't exist!" mantra and madly working to hasten environmental collapse, the planet keeps sending us reminders that we are hurling ever closer to our own demise. Major spontaneous wildfires in northern Minnesota in early May is just not natural. The climate crisis is very real, and if we can't count on the government to fight it, we have to take action ourselves. Drive less, buy less unnecessary stuff and if you want to make the biggest difference, stop eating animals – particularly beef and dairy. Animal agriculture contributes more greenhouse gases than all of the cars, trucks. trains, aircraft and ships put together, and everyone who replaces animals in their diets with plants is contributing more to the solution then they are to the problem.
