Those poor beef eaters. Now beef prices in the US have soared to record highs. The media is full of stories highlighting their plight of having to face prices a few cents a pound more than last week. Sadly, we're not seeing many stories highlighting the plight of the 36 million cattle who will die this year in the US to feed those frustrated beef eaters.
