We knew this would happen. We knew that as soon as plant-based meat, dairy and egg products started taking market share away from the animal industry's cash cows (pun intended), their execs would scream that they are being abused and would devote mountains of their government-subsidized cash at stopping the interlopers. These people are as greedy as they are cruel. And given the way that our current media system tends to beat the hell out of the truth at every opportunity, vicious attacks on these healthier, more compassionate and more Earth-friendly products are inevitable. Still it's wrong, and we all need to use all the resources we can muster to combat this sea of disinformation.
