We vegans have always upset by images of farm animal happily frolicking in beautiful bucolic settings when in fact, these animals are almost all raised in miserable and overcrowded industrial farms with little or no access to the outside world or even sunlight. Now the Animal Law Foundation has produced a study that sheds light on just how prevalent this practice is. Fully 84.09% of the images of farmed animals used in the advertising and marketing of their products in the UK showed these animals in a utopian light that was wildly unlike their actual living conditions.
