Far too many people don't get enough exercise. Older folks in particular find it easier to recline in front of the TV than go outside and get their bodies moving. The best cure for this, might just be a good training partner. Dogs love to explore the neighborhood, and they can connect you with your neighbors, get you some fresh air, and help strengthen your heart, lungs and muscles and improve your mood.
