One of last holdouts of the major Fashion Houses, Vyes Saint Laurent, has announced that animal fur will no longer be a part of their collection beginning next fall. They join Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Vivienne Westwood, Armani, Michael Kors, Gucci, Versace, Burberry, Prada, Canada Goose and others in banning fur from their lines (for those who might say we failed to include Stella McCartney on this list, please note she never carried any fur products). In addition, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Nordstrom all have closed their fur salons and stopped carrying products made with animal fur. Unfortunately, Dior, Fendi, Hermes, Karl Lagerfeld, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs and several other houses have yet to see the light, just in case you'd like to write a few letters or make a few phone calls.
