VeganStreet.com first opened its virtual doors in October 1998, and shortly after that we started selling t-shirts and other goods on one of the first vegan stores on this curious thing called the Internet. But if few people understood the Internet, even fewer people understood veganism and in fact, very few had even heard the word vegan. But being the crazy activists we were, we not only created a world where vegan values were the norm, but we printed a line of vegan-themed organic cotton t-shirts and a few other items. Over the years, we stopped producing most of these designs, but we still see them worn now and then at vegan events and sometimes on the street.
Now we have pulled some of these original designs out of the closet and added them to our 21st century digital store.
