In case you're keeping score,  NewYork is the tenth state, after California, Nevada, Illinois, Hawaii, Maryland, Maine, New Jersey, Virginia, and Louisiana, to put bans on cosmetics that have been tested on animals. A similar ban is in effect across the entire European Union. It seems like we're getting close to having a critical mass of people to demand a total US ban and likely a worldwide ban before too long.
