From here, it looks like more and more Europeans understand what so many voices in the US right wing I (with far too much help from the US media) are working so feverishly to hide, obfuscate any deny the American public from hearing and discussing: that climate change is real, it is caused by humans and that unless we take major steps to do something about it, humanity is headed for a very bleak future. Many of the ones leading the charge are members of the Zoomer generation, who inherited this desperate situation from their parents and grandparents.
One such group of Scottish zoomers is taking matters into their own hands and stomachs. They have banned all meat, dairy and egg products from their campus. They are well aware of the connection between animal agriculture and global warming and they realize that our future depends on moving toward plant-based world. Imagine if we could hear a thoughtful discussion (or even a mention) about that in the halls of Congress or the evening news!
