This statistic has been around for a while, but it's still relevant and important. If we didn't feed any grain to cattle in the US, we would end up with enough grain to feed 800 million people. Or we could convert some of those millions of acres of fields to natural lands, which would conserve resources, reduce climate change and pollution and create a lot of natural beauty in the process.
