So very many people have concocted fantasies of what a vegan dystopian hellscape would look like. In fact, if everyone quit eating animals, it would happen over a long period of time, and during that time the industry would simply breed fewer animals. When automobiles started taking over the streets and roads more than a hundred years ago, did horses become extinct? Did they take over the world? No, they're still around, just not worked to death anymore. The future for cows, pigs and chickens will likely play out pretty much like that.
