The Zoomers are a pretty enlightened generation. After all,  the climate crisis, the threat of the loss of many human rights and so many other problems caused by previous generations have been thrown into their laps. But instead of giving into apathy or despair,  Gen Z is rolling up its collective sleeves and making the kinds of decisions needed to keep the world livable and healthy. This means realizing that animal agriculture is killing the planet and demanding more plant-based foods. We can't rely on them to save the world alone – all of us have to do our part – but it's great to have them on our side.
