The latest report from the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change states that we as a society only have about five years to institute the necessary programs to slow climate change enough for the human race to survive. Much of this work needs to be done by governments and industry, but the best thing all of the rest of us can do is work to encourage everyone to adopt a plant-based vegan diet. Animal agriculture is killing the planet, and those of us who know this have to convince the one who don't.
