With all of the harm we humans are causing all the other species we share the planet with, it's heartwarming to see good people who are committed to reversing some of the damage. While these beautiful raptors had gone extinct years ago in the UK, they survived elsewhere and eventually there was a plan to reintroduce osprey chicks to Britain. 23 years of love, care and patience later, there are enough osprey families in Northumberland that scientists believe they can once again thrive.
