As we celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., it is important to acknowledge that many of the injustices he fought to correct are still injustices today. Let's keep bending that arc.
Please call on your Senators to pass the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act, especially in WV and AZ. It is ridiculous in 2022 people would be fighting for this basic tenant of our putative democracy but here we are. Tomorrow, all 50 Senate Democrats must find the courage to fight for the fundamental right to vote. Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin: Voters should not all be held hostage by two self-serving individuals. DO. WHAT. IS. RIGHT.
