Bits of plastic ending up in foods we eat and elsewhere is a very big problem and one that needs to be addressed and is being addressed by a lot of diligent and capable people. Yes, it's gross that the plastic has found it's way into meat products, but as bad as it is, it is nowhere near as bad that these packages of meat end up on our grocery shelves and our stomachs in the first place. Beyond the obvious fact that each of these packages are filled with the suffering of a living creature with deep emotional comprehension, they also each contribute mightily to the climate crisis, water shortages and pollution, the loss of habitat and biodiversity and a host of other environmental ills. And the products are particularly healthy to eat either.
