Most Americans still consume dairy products. All of these people need to know that all dairy is the result of a cow who is forcibly impregnated and almost always is immediately separated from her baby, so that the milk intended for that baby is instead sold as cheese, butter and ice cream. If the calf is a female, she will be subjected to the same horrible fate of her mom. A male calf is often killed at a very young age to become veal or dog food. As more people discover this uncomfortable truth, dairy sales have been falling, though they need to fall a lot more.
