From the beginning of actions to protect society and the planet from rampant climate change, one major villain has largely managed to avoid scrutiny – Animal Agribusiness. Vegan Street and other vegan groups have been fighting to get the world to pay attention to this connection for more than 25 years. But it has only been in the last few years that our collective words and actions have had any noticeable impact.

Now that we have finally managed to bring some visibility to this issue, Animal Agribusiness is waking up and fighting back. One of their many strategies is sending a phalanx of well-heeled and well-rehearsed lobbyists to the COP28 Climate Change Conference in Dubai to push their heavy handed narrative that eating meat is somehow essential to environment.

The fight to protect future generations becomes more urgent when the enemy infiltrates and influences our own rank.
